Café has modern design, differentiated menu, self-service and reasonable prices. The choice of pelemeni quite modest, but interesting: here you can taste the classic Russian dumplings with meat, chicken or salmon, mini khinkali, Uzbek manti, as well as four types of vareniki. All are cooked or roasted strictly under the order but it is extremely fast. Pelemeni are made in the house. You can see cooking process while sitting at the table opposite. Interior of café decorated in the original nostalgic style of the Soviet Union, and the waitresses are dressed in Soviet uniforms with a white apron. In the menu – fifteen types of Vareniki (similar to Pelemeni but without meat, vareniki can be with potato, cherry, strawberry etc.), four kinds of pelemeni, including fried, also sandwiches, mincemeat, aspic, pate, herring, pickles, pancakes, soups, steaks, stuffed fried liver, fish, potatoes with mushrooms and other dishes. For the sweet tooth there are pastries in a large assortment. Prices are quite reasonable: Vareniki priced from 160 rubles, pelemeni – from 199 rubles, borsch with mushrooms – 160 rubles, grilled vegetables – 70 rubles….

A small cozy cafe with home-made food. A good choice for those who prefer a simple and hearty dishes: soup, the same pelemeni, porridge, different hot dishes from chicken, veal and fish, homemade mushrooms, vinaigrette. However, here is only one type of pelemeni, but the price delight: from 100 rubles for a small portion, and 170 – for a large. Broad choice of other meat dishes and the prices are within the 100-190 rubles per dish.

Small cafe with Russian cuisine not far from Belorussky railway station. Inside, there is always crowded and noisy because of location and low prices. Dumplings served in a pot with broth or fried. Not cheap cafe with surprisingly ornate interiors and views over The Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Largely designed for visitors from abroad. Dumplings here only hand made, large, hearty, with juicy meat inside. Served in a white pot with vigorous horseradish. Dumplings Venison “Yakut”, “Imperial” – with salmon, “Siberian” – with pork and beef. Prices start from 325 rubles per serving.

Cheap, but soulful eatery for those who are nostalgic for the Soviet cafes. Within just one double table for the luckiest, the rest will have to stand behind the high round tables. Dumplings are only one kind – boiled, stuffed with pork and beef. Variety brought by extensive choice of sauces: mayonnaise, adjika, horseradish, garlic sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, mustard, ketchup and butter. The prices here are very humane: 100 rubles for a hearty portion.
